Our history

Our roots go all the way back to the Siemens Telephone Company.
This company with a long tradition was acquired by Siemens in 1991.
This is where the software development activity started, which was then transferred to our company.

Sysdata Kft., a subsidiary of the Austrian Siemens AG (SAGÖ), was founded.

During this period, our staff increased fivefold. We were based in Budapest, but our staff worked mainly in Vienna for SAGÖ’s Program and the System Engineering (PSE) branch. PSE supported the various Siemens sectors as a research and development partner, systems integrator and solutions provider.

Our second site was opened. Siemens chose Szeged for its development center because it is home
to a reputable university with an international reputation.

On the 10th anniversary of Sysdata Kft, the company’s name was changed to Siemens PSE Kft.
More emphasis was placed on being part of the Siemens Group, and the benefits of the brand that could be better exploited.

The Siemens Group created the Siemens IT Solutions and Services Sector to bring together its global IT solutions and services,
covering a wide range of areas from telecommunications to healthcare, from energy management to transport, and from
industrial automation to the operations of banks, public authorities and insurance companies. We are joining the group.

The Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) sector was created within the Group to concentrate
on know-how in the telecoms and multimedia business.
Siemens PSE Kft. also joined this group.

The Communications, Media and Technology sector will be managed by a new Siemens-owned company, Siemens
Convergence Creators Holding, based in Vienna. As a consequence of restructuring and staffing requirements for
projects, we unfortunately have to leave our Szeged site for a while.

Finally a management buy-out (MBO) occurred after years of considerations. Sysdata PSE Kft. was born under Hungarian ownership,
while at the same time retaining its core business and customer base. We are working hard to set up the organisation’s processes
independently of the Group, and in October we are starting to rebuild our development base and our specialist staff in Szeged.

The steady decline in our staffing size stops and we start to grow again. We begin building on our stable team
of professionals by adding new people to our team as we take on new assignments. Our new age strategy
starts to pay off, and we succeed in winning significant new clients and mandates.

The 25th anniversary of the founding of our company is a good time to take a moment and look back at
what we have to be proud of. We commemorate the anniversary with a series of events throughout the year,
and in December we close the festive year with a high quality, fun-filled celebration.

We leave the uncertain environment and period of the crown virus behind us with optimism.
We declare that teamwork, close cooperation between colleagues, and joint creative activities
based on daily direct personal relationships are of great value to our company.

We are proud to enter the 30th anniversary year of the founding of Sysdata PSE.
As well as recognizing and retaining our existing staff, we see the recruiting of
young talent as a priority, and therefore place great emphasis on our university links.
Customer satisfaction feedback is very important for us as we seek to value their trust.
We would like to thank our staff for their hard work and professional support, which
has enabled us to gain and maintain this trust for many years.
